ABOUT THE SERIES

Vanishing A S I A  is an 8-part documentary TV series shot in 4K UHD focusing on endangered cultural heritage and disappearing traditions in Asia. The series promotes a general sense of social responsibility and cultural awareness. Season 1 covers little-known but fascinating stories about disappearing heritage in South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. The series premiered on Discovery Asia and other TV channels in 2018.

Season 1 has reached more than 10 million households across Asia through Discovery Asia and other TV channels. Discovery Asia is part of the Discovery Channels network that provides documentary and non-fiction programming; focuses primarily on science, technology, history and culture through satellite and cable TVs in India, Indonesia, Australia, South Korea, The Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Nepal, Vietnam and Sri Lanka, and other distribution avenues.
